A guide dog is free of charge for the user.

Guide Dog School works under Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired and it is supervised by Guide Dog Committee (Opaskoiratoimikunta). To the committee belong representatives of guide dog user organisations, financial supporters of the guide dog work, and specialists.
